These terms apply to vehicles sold by AUTOBAHN CLAIMS LLC and to repair work carried out in our workshop. Where a signed buyer's order or work order says something different, that document wins.
Vehicles: what is described
- A car is sold as described on its intake sheet, which lists what we inspected and what we found — including faults not yet repaired.
- Mileage, equipment, battery state of health and the rest of the specification come from that inspection and from the documents that came with the car.
- Drawings and descriptions are of the actual car. If you need a specific detail measured, ask before you travel; we send it in writing.
Price, deposit and payment
- The asking price is shown on the car's sheet and in the listing. Transport, tax, title and registration fees are separate and are quoted before you commit.
- A deposit holds a car for an agreed period. If we cannot deliver the car as described, the deposit is returned in full.
- Funds must clear before a car is released, unless we have agreed in writing otherwise.
Title and paperwork
We sell cars we can title. The title, bill of sale and, where applicable, the odometer statement are prepared before release. If a title problem appears that we cannot fix within a reasonable time, the sale is unwound and the purchase price refunded.
Repairs: estimates and work orders
- Every repair opens as a numbered work order with an estimate. Work starts after you approve it.
- If the diagnosis changes the job, we stop and re-quote instead of continuing on your original approval.
- Old parts are kept for you on request. Sublet work is named on the invoice.
- Repair warranty terms are stated on the work order you sign.
Delivery
Transport is arranged with third-party carriers and paid by the buyer directly, as described on the freight page. The carrier is responsible for the car from loading to delivery; inspect the car at delivery and note anything on the carrier's paperwork.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and any dispute is heard in the courts of Broward County, Florida. Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law where you live.
